Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Dont'e Thornton Jr. got past him. The Chiefs do not have to explain a thing at slot 256.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will need Mukuba to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
