Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Malachi Lawrence at Round 4, Pick 12 is 25 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. The final tally is a middling C+.

Spending an early pick on edge rusher with cornerback, linebacker and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Stockton falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
