You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Texans did exactly that with Phillip Webb in pick 236. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Ratledge. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
