A sensible, unshowy class lands the Texans a B.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Texans spent the Round 5 slot on Jordan Hancock, a name most had 38 spots down the list. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Moore. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
