Nobody else had Power Echols anywhere near slot 224. The Panthers did, by 38 spots, and that gap is the whole story. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The Leonard value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
