A costly weekend of dealing drags the Panthers to a D-. The Panthers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Isaiah Davis at slot 100 regardless, 83 picks early. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Panthers indulged a want in Sweat while a need in quarterback stayed open. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
