Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Packers won the night they stopped Puni from sliding. Grade: B-.

Somebody in the 125th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Packers sat still while Dominick Puni, the No. 103 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Johnson reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Quinyon Mitchell
In pick No. 32 they get a lockdown presence outside. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick41 Rnd2 Tyler Nubin
They let Tyler Nubin come to them and pounced at Round 2, Pick 9. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick57 Rnd2 Kiran Amegadjie
They did well to land Kiran Amegadjie in slot 57, just ahead of his grade. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick88 Rnd3 Mike Sainristil
Mike Sainristil at the Round 3 slot nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick92 Rnd3 Marist Liufau
Fair-plus on Marist Liufau, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick95 Rnd3 Malachi Corley
A quiet steal in No. 95: Malachi Corley for less than the market said. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick125 Rnd4 Dominick Puni
Dominick Puni at pick 125 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick135 Rnd4 Cedric Johnson
Cedric Johnson at the 135th overall pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
