Draft Grade — Browns
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesB+ FutureB-
The Browns cashed the board's mistake on DeJean: B.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cooper DeJean, the No. 60 name on the board, stolen at Round 3, Pick 17.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick81 Rnd3 Cooper DeJean
Cooper DeJean at the 81st overall pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick90 Rnd3 Tyleik Williams
A straight-up fair deal on Tyleik Williams at slot 90, value and slot in agreement. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick103 Rnd4 Kiran Amegadjie
They paid sticker price for Kiran Amegadjie in the Round 4 slot, and that is fine. It fills a real need, too.
Pick133 Rnd4 Theo Wease
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Theo Wease. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick140 Rnd5 Payton Wilson
Payton Wilson in the 140th pick is fair value, right on his grade. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick165 Rnd5 Ben Sinnott
They did well to land Ben Sinnott in No. 165, just ahead of his grade. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick195 Rnd6 Dorian Singer
Dorian Singer in Round 6, Pick 20 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick210 Rnd6 Willie Roberts
Nothing to complain about; Willie Roberts went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
