The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bears watched T.J. Sanders slide 198 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
