Nobody had Jaheim Bell this high, and it is not close. The Texans reached 37 spots to get him at No. 127.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Watson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
