The Bears won the night they stopped Bullock from sliding. Grade: A-.

If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Bears, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

The Bullock steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The Tampa pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, cornerback and other spots still on the board.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Chop Robinson and all.
