The search is over. The Bears handed the keys to Caleb Williams, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Legette pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Robinson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
