The Chargers let Echoles fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Chargers were there to profit. Will Echoles, the No. 18 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 55. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.
The Crawford reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
The Chargers paired the rookies with proven help, Justin Jefferson leading the way.
