The Erick All pick is the one that will follow the 49ers into the fall. They took him 55 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Put together, it is a D-.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will answer for taking cornerback early while running back, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
