The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Giants reached some 49 spots for Elijhah Badger, and value like that does not grow back.

The Starks pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They went 9 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game. Their trades came out a wash either way.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
