The Darius Robinson pick is the one that will follow the Lions into the fall. They took him 48 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. No fireworks, but a solid B.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
