Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Lions were there to profit. Ladd McConkey, the No. 67 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 93. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want. Reaching for Zinter left real value on the table behind him.
