You could see the war room lean forward. Brenden Rice at pick 164 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

Lachey has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
