A sensible, unshowy class lands the Lions a B.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Dylan McMahon in the 208th overall pick, a good 35 spots before the room expected him.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Getting McKinstry where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
