Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Dont'e Thornton Jr. at Round 4, Pick 2 is 77 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
