McDonald should have been long gone. The Giants pounced, and earned a A-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Kayden McDonald at pick 196 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
