Best value of the weekend goes to the Bears for Smith: B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

Smith falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. Every board in the league had Corley lower, and that gap is the story.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
