The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bears and Proctor: D-. The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Proctor at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The back end got a real overhaul.
The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, D'Wayne Eskridge leading the way.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.

Josh Proctor
Josh Proctor in the 233rd overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
