FutureD+
Nobody dealt better than the Bengals this weekend: B. The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bengals were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.
The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. However the rest shakes out, Jacas at that price is a win they earned.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick92
Rnd3
Blake Miller
Blake Miller in the 92nd overall pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick128
Rnd4
Gabe Jacas
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Gabe Jacas in pick No. 128. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick156
Rnd5
Jaeden Roberts
They took Jaeden Roberts at par in slot 156, which is nothing to complain about. It fills a real need, too.
Pick188
Rnd6
Zy Alexander
They paid a round early for Zy Alexander in No. 188, more than the board wanted. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick220
Rnd7
Gavin Bartholomew
They did well to land Gavin Bartholomew in pick 220, just ahead of his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
