You build a draft on nights like this. Tacario Davis had no business being available in No. 52, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Reaching for Griffith left real value on the table behind him. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
