Somebody in the 250th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Packers sat still while Jaylin Noel, the No. 61 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
