The Bears turned the phones into found money: A-. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 95 spots for Richard Jibunor, and value like that does not grow back.
However the rest shakes out, Thrash at that price is a win they earned. The phones were where this weekend was really won. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.
They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots went begging.
Trust the process, because this time the process plainly worked.
