More right than wrong for the Chiefs, and a B to prove it.

There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Chiefs never got to the one that mattered most.

However the rest shakes out, McGlothern at that price is a win they earned. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
