Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall C
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesF FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Eagles for Harden: C.

The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Myles Harden, pick 248, roughly 39 picks past where he belonged.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Byrd pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.

Pick Analysis
Pick22 Rnd1 Kool-Aid McKinstry
In the 22nd overall pick they get a lockdown presence outside at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick50 Rnd2 Junior Colson
No drama and no debate, Junior Colson went about where he belonged in pick 50. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick53 Rnd2 Xavier Worthy
They took Xavier Worthy at par in the 53rd pick, which is nothing to complain about. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick120 Rnd4 Tyler Davis
Tyler Davis in No. 120 is fair value, right on his grade. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick160 Rnd5 Tykee Smith
No edge and no loss on Tykee Smith in pick No. 160; it is a wash and a sensible one. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick161 Rnd5 Isaiah Davis
Fair-plus on Isaiah Davis, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick171 Rnd5 Walter Rouse
They read the board right and Walter Rouse was the payoff at slot 171. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick172 Rnd5 Javion Cohen
Javion Cohen at the Round 5 slot nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick187 Rnd6 Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint
Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint at the 187th overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick210 Rnd6 Sheridan Jones
They jumped the gun on Sheridan Jones, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick225 Rnd7 Jordan Magee
Jordan Magee in Round 7, Pick 5 lands just on the right side of the ledger. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
Pick240 Rnd7 Solomon Byrd
They liked Solomon Byrd enough to skip the value, taking him in pick No. 240. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick248 Rnd7 Myles Harden
The board fumbled Myles Harden all the way to No. 248, and they scooped it up. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick253 Rnd7 Brevyn Spann-Ford
Good price on Brevyn Spann-Ford in the 253rd pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
