Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall B+
ValueB NeedB TradesA+ FutureB
The Eagles let Jones fall and pounced. Final grade: B+.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Christian Jones tumbling to the Eagles in slot 172 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

The cost of the Guerendo reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Eagles paired the rookies with proven help, Jalen Ramsey leading the way.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick33 Rnd2 Chop Robinson
Nice patience on Chop Robinson, who had no business lasting to pick 33. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick55 Rnd2 Edgerrin Cooper
Fair-plus on Edgerrin Cooper, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick60 Rnd2 Kingsley Suamataia
A straight-up fair deal on Kingsley Suamataia at slot 60, value and slot in agreement. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick120 Rnd4 Isaac Guerendo
A reach for Isaac Guerendo in the Round 4 slot; a little patience would have been rewarded. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick142 Rnd5 Johnny Wilson
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Johnny Wilson at the 142nd overall pick is the proof. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick161 Rnd5 Tykee Smith
Tykee Smith at Round 5, Pick 25 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick171 Rnd5 AJ Barner
AJ Barner in No. 171 is fair value, right on his grade. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick172 Rnd5 Christian Jones
Steal is underselling it; Christian Jones at pick No. 172 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick210 Rnd6 Johnny Dixon
Johnny Dixon at the 210th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick248 Rnd7 Jordan Magee
Jordan Magee in pick No. 248 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
