The Bears did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jay Higgins fell into the 211th overall pick. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Gillotte has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
