Bobup DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Seahawks for Marks: B-. The Seahawks spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Woody Marks, the No. 180 name on the board, in the Round 7 slot.
Every board in the league had Ferguson lower, and that gap is the story. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick18
Rnd1
Tyler Booker
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Tyler Booker. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick50
Rnd2
Xavier Watts
Good price on Xavier Watts in the 50th pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick52
Rnd2
JT Tuimoloau
A clean, defensible pick in pick No. 52 with a little surplus value in JT Tuimoloau. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick82
Rnd3
Isaiah Bond
Isaiah Bond in No. 82 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick92
Rnd3
Terrance Ferguson
Terrance Ferguson in pick 92 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick137
Rnd4
Jeffrey Bassa
Jeffrey Bassa at the 137th overall pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick172
Rnd5
Jack Nelson
No drama and no debate, Jack Nelson went about where he belonged in the Round 5 slot. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick175
Rnd5
Oronde Gadsden II
No edge and no loss on Oronde Gadsden II in Round 5, Pick 37; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick223
Rnd7
Woody Marks
Woody Marks in the 223rd overall pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick234
Rnd7
Karene Reid
Karene Reid at the Round 7 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
