The Broncos finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Broncos did exactly that with DeMonte Capehart in the 196th pick. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

The whole projection now runs through Bo Nix; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

With edge rusher, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
