The Broncos found their guy under center in Maye: A-. The search is over. The Broncos handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.
That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Every board in the league had Johnson lower, and that gap is the story.
For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.
Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Drake Maye and all.
