The phones were a trap the Seahawks kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

Jackson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Every board in the league had Majors lower, and that gap is the story.

Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
