There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Lions started one anyway for Joey Slackman, 90 picks ahead of schedule. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They banked enough surplus on Knight Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.
