Call it larceny. Bub Means sat on the board until the 249th overall pick, and the Lions did not need to be asked twice. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Quinn Meinerz deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

They went 4 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
