The Panthers clearly saw something nobody else did in Dominic Lovett, taking him 112 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
