The trade table was a mismatch, and the Steelers were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

They will need Jackson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Fisher at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The Fisher pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, safety and other spots. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
