Larceny in pick 56 lands the Raiders a B, Washington and all.

The rest of the league will want that one back. A'Mauri Washington tumbling to the Raiders in Round 2, Pick 24 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They are betting Harris proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick22 Rnd1 Will Echoles
In Round 1, Pick 22 they get a load in the middle, and a steal at that.
Pick56 Rnd2 A'Mauri Washington
Somehow A'Mauri Washington was still sitting there in No. 56, and they pounced on premier interior defensive lineman value. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick84 Rnd3 Reed Harris
Reed Harris in the 84th pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick87 Rnd3 Greg Johnson
A offensive lineman of that caliber at pick 87 is the definition of value, full stop. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick123 Rnd4 Iapani Laloulu
The board fumbled Iapani Laloulu all the way to the 123rd overall pick, and they scooped it up. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick136 Rnd4 Amare Ferrell
Nice patience on Amare Ferrell, who had no business lasting to pick No. 136. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick159 Rnd5 Jayden Jackson
Jayden Jackson at slot 159 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick199 Rnd6 Cayden Lee
Cayden Lee at the Round 6 slot nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
