Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The Raiders cashed the board's mistake on Washington: B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Raiders watched A'Mauri Washington slide 26 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Reaching for Harris left real value on the table behind him. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Pick Analysis
Pick15 Rnd1 Charlie Becker
In pick No. 15 they get a go-to option on the outside, a steep price for the projection. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick49 Rnd2 A'Mauri Washington
Circle this one: A'Mauri Washington at Round 2, Pick 17 is a fall that decides a draft. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick79 Rnd3 Reed Harris
A real head-scratcher, Reed Harris in the 79th pick is miles ahead of his ranking. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick117 Rnd4 Evan Tengesdahl
A slide stopped in pick 117, with Evan Tengesdahl worth more than the price. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick152 Rnd5 Jayden Jackson
They read the board right and Jayden Jackson was the payoff at slot 152. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick154 Rnd5 Desmeal Leigh
A straight-up fair deal on Desmeal Leigh at No. 154, value and slot in agreement. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
