Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B-
ValueC NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Raiders, and a B- to prove it.

The Raiders torched the value chart for Elijah Rushing, taking him 42 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The Lucas pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick15 Rnd1 Charlie Becker
In pick No. 15 they get a true top target, though the board says they badly overpaid. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick48 Rnd2 A'Mauri Washington
Steal is underselling it; A'Mauri Washington at the 48th pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick79 Rnd3 Nyck Harbor
Nyck Harbor at the Round 3 slot is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick117 Rnd4 Jayden Jackson
They left a pile of value on the table to take Jayden Jackson this early at Round 4, Pick 16. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick163 Rnd5 Mateen Ibirogba
Mateen Ibirogba in slot 163 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick194 Rnd6 Xavier Lucas
Circle this one: Xavier Lucas at the 194th overall pick is a fall that decides a draft. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick247 Rnd7 Maraad Watson
They paid a round early for Maraad Watson in slot 247, more than the board wanted. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick252 Rnd7 Elijah Rushing
Elijah Rushing at the 252nd overall pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
