The Dolphins landed square in the muddy middle: C+.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Dolphins did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. Call it a C+ and check back in two years.

Norman-Lott at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The Bryant pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

Hit on Shavon Revel Jr. and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
