The Dolphins worked the phones like thieves and earned a B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Dolphins were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. It is not that Smith is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first. Muhammad falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The Dolphins clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
