The Dolphins lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will need Monheim to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Mukuba at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The Mukuba pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, tight end and other spots still on the board.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
