Somebody in Round 7, Pick 15 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Dolphins sat still while Raheim Sanders, the No. 146 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Reaching for Martin left real value on the table behind him.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
