You can hear the double-takes from here. The Giants took Tyler Shough at the 99th overall pick, roughly 42 spots before his name belonged. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Getting Watts where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
