A respectable, level-headed haul for the Cowboys: B-.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Brady Cook at No. 247 is 36 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

However the rest shakes out, Strong at that price is a win they earned. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
