The trade table was where it all came apart. The Jets shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

Every board in the league had Barrett lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and safety is still a hole.
