Draft Grade — Cardinals
Overall B
ValueB NeedA- TradesB- FutureB-
The Cardinals left with their quarterback, and a B to match.

The Cardinals spent the pick that matters most on Bo Nix, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. The bottom line is a respectable B.

That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Marvin Harrison Jr.
In the 4th pick they get a difference-maker at receiver at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick21 Rnd1 Bo Nix
In No. 21 they get a franchise quarterback. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick35 Rnd2 Chop Robinson
Chop Robinson at pick No. 35 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
